Now that that’s out of the way, Let’s check out our recommendations for the best things to do in Ubud.
1. Electric Cycling Tour to Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Do an electric cycling tour with eBikes Bali. The UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tegalalang rice terraces, is the destination, but half the fun is getting there. Ride an electric bicycle through villages and rice fields. See the real Bali!
Visit a local family compound, a coffee plantation, temples, and more. The whole way, our friendly and enthusiastic guides will tell you about Bali and Balinese life. Do all of this on an electric bicycle so you can pedal as much or as little as you want.
Find out what people are calling “The best thing I did in Bali!”.
eBikes Bali also offers “Make a day of it”.
This is aimed at guests coming from outside of Ubud.
For the morning tour, book transport with us, select “make a day of it”, and after the tour we will drop you off in Ubud center. You can then enjoy this great village all afternoon. We will then pick you up at a time of your choosing and return you to your hotel.
For the afternoon tour it works the same except that we would bring you to Ubud in the morning, give you time to explore then pick you up for the tour and after the tour, return you to your hotel.
If you are looking for things to do in Ubud this should be at the top of your list.
2. Electric cycling tour to Tirta Empul Water Temple
Tirta Empul water temple is one of the most sacred spots in Bali. Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, this 800 year old temple draws pilgrims from far and wide. To get there our tour travels through villages and rice fields stopping to visit temples and a local Balinese compound on the way. The tour is done on electric bicycles which means it’s up to you how much effort you want to put in (Secret: you can use electric the whole way!).
